2020 Public Service Symposium

September 30, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Have you ever considered any of the following:
  • How to reach out to and better communicate with local officials?
  • How to serve as an official at the local city, state or county level?
  • Running for office?

If so, then join the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and the Young Professionals Connection for a Public Service Symposium. There will be a combination of panel discussions and breakout rooms and a keynote speaker to answer your questions. Learn more about joining the appropriate boards and commissions in your communities and engaging in public service. Come prepared with your questions so that you can take full advantage of the speakers' wisdom and experience.
